OUR VOLUNTEERS

 

Overflow 9:12 volunteers are an essential part of what we do. Opportunities are available for every sort of skill, experience and comfort.  And we strive to provide a sense of fulfillment for everyone who serves with us.

Whether it’s loading up the mobile shower unit and preparing for service, greeting and signing in guests, handing out shower supplies, being part of the shower sanitizing crew, offering takeaway items, or just being there with a friendly smile and warm spirit, Overflow 9:12 is designed to engage volunteers with minimal training and maximum involvement. 

​

We also take great pleasure in partnering with California certified/licensed service providers to meet additional needs of the unhoused such as meals, haircuts, dental and medical care.  Such a "care village" approach serves to mobilize partners, increase convenient access to multiple services, and create a joyous, cohesive sense of community, all for the benefit of our unhoused guests.  If you would like to partner with us, we would love to hear from you.
