Overflow 9:12 volunteers are an essential part of what we do. Opportunities are available for every sort of skill, experience, and comfort. And we strive to provide a sense of fulfillment for everyone who serves with us.

Whether it is loading and setting up the mobile shower unit, greeting and signing in guests, cleaning, and preparing each shower for the next guest, Overflow 9:12 is designed to engage volunteers with minimal training and maximum involvement.

If you are a certified organization offering specialized services for the unhoused such as medical, menta/services, and you would like to partner with us, we look forward to hearing from you.

CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT

Confidentiality can be a life-or-death issue for some of our Overflow guests. Any information about our guests or where they live should not be given verbally, in writing or electronically to anyone, including news agencies. No photos shall be taken of guests without their permission.

The value of connecting and building healthy, wholesome friendships between volunteers and Overflow guests is encouraged! However, it is important that these relationships be developed carefully and respectfully as many of our guests are vulnerable emotionally, socially, spiritually, and physically.

· Please do not share your personal contact information with individuals being served.

· Do not transport individuals being served in your personal vehicle or visit camp locations outside Overflow 9:12 shower events.

· It would be UNWISE to friend, follow or accept invites from guests on any social media platform (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) until healthy relationships have been firmly established over a significant period.

STANDARD RIGHTS RELEASE

I agree to appear in print, online and/or video to be produced by OVERFLOW 9:12, or any agency or individual approved by OVERFLOW 9:12 for the purpose of describing or promoting my experience with, and the activities of OVERFLOW 9:12.

I give OVERFLOW 9:12 and its approved agencies and individuals my unrestricted permission to reproduce, distribute, and publish all interviews, photographs, and video or audio recordings taken of me (directly or in a background setting) as well as any media artwork or written materials produced by me while associated with OVERFLOW 9:12. I understand I will receive no compensation for the use of these interviews, photographs, video or audio recordings as well as personal artwork, written material and/or online material. Likewise, I hereby WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE OVERFLOW 9:12 from all claims and causes of action arising out of any action I have authorized herein.
